Our Story,
Farmhouse Music Studio started in 2014 in a 150-year-old farmhouse near Loretto, MN, where students took piano lessons amid a rustic setting complete with farm animals.
In 2020, Sonja, the owner, moved the music studio to a commercial space in Long Lake, MN, allowing it to grow rapidly. By 2023, Farmhouse Music had over 125 students and a dedicated teaching team, sparking the opening of a second studio in Lakeville, MN.
Both locations now thrive, staying true to their mission of fostering a love for music and providing high-quality piano instruction to students of all ages.
Our Team,
Matthew Lech

With over a decade of experience teaching both private and group lessons, Matthew brings a supportive, structured approach to every student. He’s passionate about helping musicians of all ages build confidence, strong fundamentals, and a genuine love for music.
