Help Your Child Learn Guitar with Confidence, Skill, and a Supportive Teacher
A warm, structured program designed for beginners — helping kids avoid YouTube overwhelm and make real musical progress.
No pressure, no commitment — just a friendly intro to see if the program’s a good fit.
“You paid for the whole guitar, why not play all of it?”
Most guitarists never learn to read music — we fix that.
Instead of memorizing shapes or relying on random tabs, students learn:
Standard notation
Tablature
Chord charts
Real fretboard understanding
This means they can learn any music, play confidently with others, and grow as true musicians.
Clear, structured, confidence-building.
What to Expect
In this 24-week program, students will:
Build strong technique
Read music accurately
Understand how the fretboard works
Play in multiple positions
Learn chords, scales, songs
Grow toward the style they love (rock, jazz, classical, worship, etc.)
The full curriculum is deep — but the experience starts simple: meet your instructor, talk goals, and build a plan.
Meet one of our talented piano and guitar instructors, Matthew Lech. Matthew has a Master’s of Music Performance from St. Xavier University in Chicago.
Matthew teaches at our Lakeville studio.
