What to Expect from Us
Meet Your Instructors 👋
Nessa — Private Piano Instructor
Nessa is a pianist and dedicated piano instructor currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Collaborative Piano at the University of Minnesota. She brings enthusiasm, encouragement, and a love of music to every lesson, helping students build strong technique, musical confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for the piano.
Whether working with beginners or experienced musicians, Nessa creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning, growing, and expressing themselves through music. She enjoys making lessons engaging, celebrating each student's progress, and inspiring a love of music that lasts well beyond the lesson.
Dan — Private Piano Instructor
Dan is a seasoned educator, performer, and church musician who brings patience, creativity, and a genuine love of music to every lesson. Raised on a dairy farm (yes, he once showed Holstein cows at county fairs!), he carries that same strong work ethic into his teaching and enjoys helping students grow in both skill and confidence.
Since joining Grace United Methodist Church in 2024, Dan has continued sharing his passion for music with his community. Outside of teaching, he enjoys movies, theater, long walks with his dog, and a good book—but his favorite moments are spent with his wife, Julie, their daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren.
